Music Video of the Week: Joni Lamb & the Daystar Singers

Okay, okay...I promise this will be the last Joni related post for a long, long time. Pause the Sigur Ros jukebox before "getting your praise on".

I love to hear Joni Lamb sing, but I can't find any video online except for two or three on youtube of the entire band, although they are good too.
Also, I can't hear clips of the CD's on the daystar site! BUMMER!

I don't know why Joni has kept such a low Internet profile. You'd think that the exposure would drive people to the Celebration program and to the Daystar network. On the other hand, her team may just be attempting to prevent the likes of yours truly from pursuing her.

Just kidding. I think Joni Lamb is one hot momma, but I'm not the stalking kind. If she were interested I'd jump at the opportunity, but I'm all about giving people their space.

I love Joni's singing and the DS Singers are good at what they do (overblown Las Vegas style glamour-show praise and worship tripe). But do you wanna know what I like the most about them? I love that Latin American dude with the fucked up hair styled in the fashion of a capon's comb. How does he get all those different colors to weave in there so seamlessly? I bet he could hang with the thugs.

As for Daystar's website not featuring any clips of Joni's songs...I can only assume that it stems from the fact that they are cheap as shit. I have been told that they are major contributors to quack Benny Hinn's traveling freak show...perhaps if they cut that expense out of the budget they could afford to promote the one person who keeps the Daystar Money Machine afloat.

Thanks for the comment. I hope you take this response in the light-hearted manner in which it was presented. I respect you and your personal taste in music, etc. But I only posted that video as part of an ongoing joke that began when a reader called me out and lambasted me for writing fictional posts about an obsession with Joni Lamb. I'm sure Joni's okay, but I want nothing to do with the kind of religion she promotes and the manner in which she presents it.
