The purposed meeting with Red didn't come off today as planned, even though he called me at like, 12:00 o'clock in the morning, leaving a message with the intent of setting a time. As it turned out, my scheduled med pick-up was changed from Friday to Thursday and I'd planned to go meet Red immediately following it. I just couldn't afford the gas to go again today.
Red's leaving town for who knows how long tonight, so I'm not sure when we'll be able to do this.
The sheer global importance of this meeting of the minds will ensure that, when the time finally comes, I'll tell you all about it (if you don't first read about it on the other 1,000 blogs that will be covering it).
